Tag Meir produce and distributed a new phrasebook – in Hebrew, Arabic and Yiddish – with 20 words and phrases from everyday life.
We distributed tens of thousands of copies throughout the city of Jerusalem.
Our goal was to promote familiarity and closeness between the populations in the city, as part of the events of “Tolerance Week” being held in the city.
Thousands of postcards with the phrase book were distributed among the city’s main squares, hospitals, campuses and in central locations. Posters were hung on hundreds of notice boards in the city.
The project is in cooperation with the Jerusalem Inter-Cultural Center, and volunteers from the Tag Meir group at the Hebrew University, the Hechalutz movement, the Jerusalem preparatory program, Noam and students from Tel Aviv University.
